| We developed the 'Virtual Surgery' to help MPs give their constituents a better service. By using our Virtual Surgery you can get all the information you need from your constituents to take up a case on their behalf and reply to them, all online. |

| How It Works |
|
| Constituents start a case by logging on to the web site - either a stand-alone site or integrated with your MP web site. They enter their postcode and the system confirms they are a constituent by looking up their address on the electoral roll. This is more accurate than a simple postcode lookup. Provision is made for people who have a business in the constituency but are not themselves constituents. Once they have been confirmed as a constituent an account is set up with a username and password. |

| The constituent can now start a new case, upload documents and photographs, and write notes. The MP or their staff can see a new case and deal with it as appropriate. Documents and notes can be sent back to the constituent and the process continues until the case is closed. At all times the previous notes and documents on the case are available, along with all previous cases with that constituent. |

| The Cost |

| A new Online Surgery costs £1,000 per year. This includes generous server file space and bandwidth allowance. This is discounted if you have a web site with us already. |
